Ashantigold assistant coach confident Hearts' win will revive their campaign

Ashantigold assistant coach Kamara Dini is confident his side's 1-0 win at Hearts will revive their campaign.

The Obuasi-based side needed Aaron Amoah’s angled effort on the hour mark to end three successive defeats in the League.

The miners had failed to win the last matches as defeats to Aduana Stars Berekum Arsenals and Medeama kept the pressure on the technical team.

But they defied all odds to silence their opponent to record their first win in 17-years at the Accra sports stadium.

Coach Dini, who took temporal charge of the side was thrilled with the outcome of the result and remains confident the victory will tunr around their downward spiral.

“It was an opportant victory for us and we’re happy we managed to win at this difficult venue,” Dini said

“I believe this win will spare us on. We are not going to sleep but ensure that we continue to build on from here.

“We should be motivated by this victory.”

Ashantigold will next take on Tema Youth on December 16.
