Ashantigold Chief Executive Kudjoe Fianoo has up to Friday to vacate his post or risk being pushed out, angry fans have issued a 4-day ultimatum.

Fianoo has come under criticism for his managerial style which has seen the side gone without a trophy since he took over the reigns nine years ago.

Angry supporters have accused him of backing coach Bashir Hayford and want him to leave alongside the former Kotoko trainer.

Fianoo and Hayford have up to Friday to vacate their post or they will be forced out in a 4-day ultimatum given by some section of the supporters.

“We have served them with an ultimatum to calmly vacate their positions by Friday or they would be chased out,” Chief Ashantigold supporter Surage Mohammed said

“They are the cause of our problems this season so the earlier they leave the better it would be for this club.

“Ashgold was not made for them so we want them out as soon as possible. They are a disgrace to the club so they must leave”.

It’s been a sorry season for the miners after seeing their promising start whittled down and many of their supporters feel the duo have done little to enhance their title prospect.

Fianoo has spent close to a decade at the club but has struggled to win them over following their lack of title winning surge.

The FA Cup is considered their last chance of silverware, as they trail leaders Kotoko by a staggering 16 points with six games left to play.
