AshantiGold coach Yaw Acheampong has hit out at his players for their recent dip in form.

The miners have struggled in their last four matches in the top-flight where they have failed to pick maximum points.

The Obuasi-based side recorded an impressive seven straight wins in the second half of the League to cushion them to the top-four position.

But their recent plunge in form has raised concerns among their teeming fans

But the ex-Ghana international has laid the problems at the doorstep of his charges.

“About the performance of some of the boys on the field. I don’t know why they come down all of a sudden,” Acheampong told Radio XYZ

“Some of them are bit disappointing and I am so shocked at their current display. The must behave like professionals and make things work for us.

“It’s football and it’s full of surprises so anything that comes we must it take it in good stride.

“Let take it us one of the mistakes that comes, it gives us a lot of work to do to correct our mistakes,”
