Experienced Ashantigold goalkeeper Fatau Dauda is refusing to get carried away after his side posted a 1-0 win over Liberty Professionals to open a three-point lead at the summit of the table.

The former Orlando Pirates and Chippa United goalkeeper is leading the Miners charge for their first league title in two decades.

AshGold had been without a win in their last three games that saw their healthy lead at the summit of the league table chopped to just two.

But Emmanuel Osei’s strike ensured they returned to winning ways at home against Liberty.

Dauda who is recapturing his form since his return to the First Capital Plus Premier league says the attention shifts towards the midweek clash against Bechem United.

“We are not thinking about the title at the moment we know that we have a lot of games to go,” Dauda told GHANAsoccernet.com

“In fact the attention is simply back to Bechem which is another final so that is where the attention should be at the moment.”
