AshantiGold goalkeeper Robert Dabuo is hoping to hit his stride in the upcoming season after recovering from a long injury layoff.

The experienced custodian, who has been battling with injury since last year, has returned to full fitness ahead of the 2017/18 Ghana Premier League season and is raring to hit the ground running when the league commences.

“I feel so great that I’m able to stand on my feet again and train with my colleagues. I’m assuring my fans that they should keep praying for me," Footballmadeinghana.com

“I’m coming back stronger than before,” he stated.

The 27-year-old shot-stopper was quizzed on what inspires him when he was down with the injury, he answered, “I never quit. I’m not a quitter. I worked so hard to be back. Now, it will depend on my training whether or not we’re going to see the old Robert Dabuo."
