Ashantigold goalkeeper Robert Dabuo has dismissed claims he's at loggerheads with rival Fatau Dauda.

Media reports had claimed the two goalkeepers have fallen out amid growing fears it could affect the side ahead of the CAF Champions League preliminary games.

Dabuo has emerged as a strong challenger to the Black Stars shot-stopper to spark talks of an intense rivalry between the two men.

But the former Wa All Stars glovesman has denied the widespread claims.

“I don’t have any problem with Fatau,we are close," he is quoted by sportsworldghana.

"Sometimes he advises me a lot and he even offers me a gift after his national assignment not me only the whole team sometimes so I’m cool with him."

The two goalkeepers are expected to be key for the miners ahead of their involvement in the continent's elite inter club competition.
