Ghanaian side AshantiGold have expressed satisfaction with the kind of warm-reception given to them by their Algerian opponents MO Bejaian ahead of Sunday’s game.

The Miners who left Ghana last Thursday with a 30-man contingent consisting of 18 players, 7 technical staff and 5 officials are currently lodging in Crystal 2 Hotel - a 5-star hotel in Bejaia.

And the Public Relation Officer of the club Kofi Yawson who was part of the officials that made the trip has expressed their delight regarding the reception they received from the hosts club.

“We are much happy with the kind of reception MO Bejaia has given to us so far. How they welcomed us at the airport and to our hotel, I think they have done well.

“What is left now for us to go onto the pitch and do the job by eliminating them from the competition because the weather here is good and we are fully prepared for the game,” Yawson opined.

The Miners will be going in to the game with a slim 1-0 first leg win.
