Ashantigold are open to receiving ‘foreign’ offers for striker Yakubu Mohammed.

The miners are willing to let the 25-year-old leave if the price offer comes along.

Yakubu, a former Maritzburg United striker, has undergo several trials with clubs abroad including his latest stint with Moroccan outfit Moghreb Athletic Tetouan.

Ashantigold chief executive Kudjoe Fianoo has confirmed they are ready to approve the right offer for the talented striker.

“He has been in and out a couple of times and before we signed a contract extension with him, we made a pledge to him that anytime he gets a deal outside, we will not put any impediments on his way so he has been globetrotting for some time now,” he told Accra-based Starr FM

“I think whatever comes on the table, we will take it.”

Mohammed has been a key member of the Ashantigold squad this season as they chase their first Premier League crown in two decades.
