Ghana Premier League side AshantiGold will return to training on Monday afternoon after being given a one-week break.

Head coach Bashiru Hyaford asked his side to take some rest after engaging in a series of friendly games which they won convincingly.

Training will be done at the Ofori Stadium in Obuasi.

AshantiGold have been asked by the Ghana Football Association to represent the club in the 2015 CAF Confederation Cup after Inter Allies, who were runners-up in the MTN FA Cup, withdrew.

The Obuasi-based side must confirm their participation in the competition by Tuesday.
