Ghana Premier League side AshantiGold have augmented their squad for the new season with the acquisition of four new players.

The Obuasi-based club have signed relegated Great Olympics duo of Malik Akowuah and Latif Mohammed on a three year deal each.

Kessben FC duo Edmund Owusu Peprah and Samson Cudjoe have joined last season's runners up.

"I can confirm that we have signed these four players to help us in our campaign next season  with few others on the agenda," AshantiGold Chief Executive Kudjoe Fianoo told Ghanasoccernet.com

"We want to put what happened to us last season behind us and chart a new course and that is why we believe quality recruitment will help us achieve our aim."

AshantiGold lost out on the league title on the final day of competition last season.
