Ghana Premier League side AshantiGold have announced they will award two of their players who played at the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations.

Goalkeeper Fatau Dauda was Ghana's first choice goalkeeper at the tournament who earned rave reviews for his exploits between the sticks.

The 27-year-old was adjudged Man-of-the-Match in Ghana's quarterfinal victory against Cape Verde.

His 81st minute world-class save against the Blue Sharks is rated as the best save of the tournament.

Defender Traore played one match for silver-medalists Burkina Faso and that was against Burkina Faso in the semi-finals when he came on as substitute.

He scored one of the penalties for the Stallions in the 3-1 win over the Black Stars.

"Fatau and Henri Traore have done a lot of good for the club and we will honour them deservedly," AshantiGold Chief Executive Kudjoe Fianoo a local radio station.
