Ashantigold chief Kudjoe Fianoo has emerged as the front runner for the Chief Executive position of Hearts of Oak.

The future of Fred Crentsil has being hugely speculated after Hearts ended the season without a trophy and there are many who believe he could be axed from the club for non-performance.

Hearts failure to also attract big sponsorship package despite their huge support base has not help matters as some disgruntled fans continue to call for the dismissal of the former Sekondi Hasaacas Director.

The managerial acumen of the experienced Ashantigold chief has been hailed after successful spells with the miners.

The former administrative manager of the Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA) has been hugely credited with transforming the fortunes of Ashantigold which saw them put up a remarkable display in the second half of the campaign to place second last term.

Media reports claim some top brass of the 2000 African Champions have contacted Fianoo for a possible role at the club.

He has however remained coy on the link to the Hearts job.

The Obuasi-based club is still in with a chance to win a silverware after reaching the finals of the MTN FA cup.
