AshantiGold head coach Bashiru Hayford has ruled out big name signings as team intensify pre season training.
The Elephants are yet to make any new signing after offloading several stars including the Nuhu brothers, Augustine Sefa, Godfred Rockson and Frederick. Quayson.
But the club have massive cash injection from principal sponsors Betway.
"We don't need to come out with players we have at the moment. We haven't bought any name, I don't believe in big names," he said on Class FM.
"Anytime I opt for big name signings it doesn't help me. What helps me is to be preparing the unknown ones to get the name."
