AshGold head Coach Bashiru Hayford is the latest to add his voice to  growing calls on Avram Grant to stay in Ghana more.

Grant is yet to touch down in Ghana since leaving for Christmas holidays in December 2015.

In-coming Minister of Youth and Sports Edwin Nii Lantey Vanderpuye recently claimed he would ensure the former Chelsea and Former West Ham United boss spends more time in the country.

And Bashiru Hayford whose side won the 2014/2015 Ghana Premier League title says its time the coach makes his impact felt in the country.

“We should feel his presence. Not Black Stars alone. He is a Ghana Coach. We should see him as such. There should be programs for coaches and teams. And, he should make sure he goes to the centres and see,” Coach Hayford told Accra based Starr FM.

“He can recommend that I went to this centre and it is not good for football. With his background, I think people will listen,”
