AshGold right back Tijani Joshua has lamented the level of officiating in the country and wants authority to do the right thing ahead of the 2015/2016 season.

Joshua who played full throttle as his side was beaten by a late goal from Bernard Ofori to hand Medeama victory in the Super Cup game is livid over officiating on the day.

After the game AshGold decided to boycott the medal presentation ceremony due to what they described as unfair officiating on the part of the middle man.

“I think that the officials will have to start looking at themselves because our goal was a good goal,” Joshua said

“Both teams played very well and gave it their all but why is that our goal was turned down and the other one stood.” “That is the challenge because going forward we have to get things right for the overall development of the game in this country.”
