AshGold, Hearts face tough away duels

The top two teams AshantiGold and Hearts of Oak face difficult away trips as the race for the Ghana Premier League title intensifies.

AshantiGold, on top with a one-point advantage, must beat rivals Asante Kotoko at the Baba Yara Stadium in one of the most difficult assignments in the title run-in.

AshGold have remained on top for the six weeks and could lose their slot if they fail to account for a Kotoko side struggling for form.

Hearts, in second place, must also beat Kessben FC at the Anane Boateng Stadium to profit from any slip by AshGold.

Third-place Aduana Stars are also in contention for the league title and must avoid slipping or dropping points Real Tamale United at the Osagyefo Agyeman-Badu I Park.

King Faisal have a nice opportunity of moving up the ladder against relegated Hasaacas at the Essipong Stadium.

Strugglers, Great Olympics and Eleven Wise who occupy the 14th and 15th places respectively need maximum points in their match at the El-Wak Stadium.

Either side can improve their chances of beating the drop with a win and hope the other results go their way.

Chelsea of Bechem need a win against Liberty Professionals at the Golden City Park to avoid being drawn into the relegation battle.

New Edubise can stay safe if they dismiss Heart of Lions at the Len Clay Stadium and Arsenals will be hoping for a point against All Stars in Wa.
