AshantiGold midfielder Sampson Cudjoe is suspended for this weekend's Caf Confederation Cup round of 16 first leg tie against Etoile du Sahel in Sousse.

Cudjoe picked up two yellow cards in both legs of the previous qualifying round against Sewe Sport of Ivory Coast.

Head coach Zdravko Logarusic claims he has a back-up plan for the defensive midfielder

"Cudjoe is a key player but I believe the substitute will be up to the task," the Croat told the Ghana News Agency.

"Etoile is a strong team and they have the history behind them. At Ashgold, we take each game as it comes and I believe in the abilities of my players."

AshantiGold were runners-up in the 1997 Caf Champions League losing on penalties to Moroccan side Raja Casablanca.
