AshGold striker Yakubu aims to upstage top scorer Baffour

AshantiGold striker Yakubu Mohammed claims he can topple Emmanuel Baffour to emerge Ghana Premier League top scorer with four matches to go.

The 22-year-old has scored 12 so far and must score hat-tricks to surpass Baffour's 21 goal tally.

The ambitions goal poacher has declared the goal-king race is far from over

"Football has no formula and I believe I can pull the biggest surprise to take the golden boot award ahead of Baffour," Mohammed told the Graphic Sports.

"It has always been my dream to be best striker the country has ever produced and that dream is on course.

"I watch lots of tapes on some of the world's best strikers including my mentor Ronaldo Da Lima of Brazil who remains the best ever."

Mohammed played for defunct former Premier League side Tema Real Sportive.
