Ashanti Gold defender Kadiri Mohammed has assured fans of the club that the team is well oiled to deliver victory against Algerian side M.O Bejaia in the second leg.
The Miners produced a good performance to beat M.O Bejaia in the first leg thanks to a Tijani Joshua strike.
The Ghanaian champions looked pale and out of ideas in preseason but have won their last two games, one in the CAF Champions League and the other against Medeama in the Ghana Premier League.
These games seem to have boosted confidence in camp for Bashiru Hayford’s men and defender Kadiri Mohammed says in this mood there is no way they are getting knocked out by M.O Bejaia.
“We know very well that the game will be very tough and a lot of pressure will be on us but we are very confident of going through,” Kadiri said
“If you have been following our performance you will see that we improve after every game and I want to tell our fans that we will do what is required to progress.”
