Asian duo chase ex-Ghana youth defender Patrick Villars

Former Ghana youth star Patrick Villars has emerged as huge target for Asian clubs Al Sadd and Chirag United.

The offensive cum defensive midfielder is a free agent after completing his deal with Kucuk Kaymaklin FC of Cyprus.

Qatari's Al Sadd and Chirag of India have enquired about the availability of the ex- Trabzonspor and SK Bucheon player who has excelled with teams abroad over the past ten years.

"I have finished my deal with Kucuk Kaymaklin and there are interest from Al Sadd and Chirag and that’s what we’re working on now," Villars told GHANAsoccernet.com

"I enjoyed a successful spell with the club and the clubs are keen to land me because I believe they’ve have been impress with my progress over the period. My club future will be sorted out soon’.

The 27-year-old was a key member of the Black Satellite squad that won silver at the World Youth Championship in Argentina in 2001 and played at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens.
