New Edubiase playmaker Asiedu Atobrah is hoping for good showing at next year’s African Youth Championship to secure a move abroad.
The 19-year-old played a key role for the Black Satellites as they pulled off a remarkable feat to beat Gabon 4-1 to secure qualification to the championship in Senegal.
The future of Atobrah has been hugely speculated in the local media after both Kotoko and Hearts slapped in official bids for his signature.
Edubiase have been reluctant to sell their prize asset and the player is counting on next year’s championship to secure a dream move abroad.
“Offers are coming in but now we have qualified to the African Youth Championship so I will try to concentrate on going there and hopefully maybe something lucrative could come out of there,†he told newly established Starr FM
“Ghanaian players are not valued more in terms of transfers so I am hoping I could get a breakthrough in the Youth Championship so I could get a big move and then a big offer too.
The youngster has been a cult figure for the Bekwai-based side and played a cameo role for the home-based Black Stars to clinch silver at the 2014 CHAN tournament in South Africa.
