Ghana midfielder Asiedu Atobrah claims he nearly signed for Turkish giants Fenerbahce after excelling in the 2014 CHAN tournament. 

The New Edubiase playmaker put up a decent performance during the three-week tournament for the country's home-based stars.

Atobrah has claimed a number of European offers have poured in for him while revealing he he came close to signing for Fenerbahce.

“I have gotten a lot of offers and I even nearly signed for Fenerbahce but I hope to get the best club from Europe," he said.

“My performance in this tournament will help my football career and i hope to get a team in Europe. "

Atobrah was heavily linked with a move to Kotoko and Hearts but opted to stay with the Bekwai-based side.

Officials of the club have insisted he will only be sold to a foreign club.
