New Edubiase impressive midfielder Asiedu Atobrah has told GHANAsoccernet.com he will not be seeking a move abroad this season.

Edubiase are determined to bolster their ranks ahead of their debut appearance in next year’s Caf Confederations Cup after lifting the Ghana MTN FA Cup at the expense of Ashantigold on Sunday.

Club officials have resolved to keep the 18-year who impressed heavily on trials at Israeli side Ashdod FC by offering him a bumper deal to remain at the club as they make a giant entry into Africa next year.

“We have qualified for Africa and the club president has told me they will keep me to help them in the CAF Confederations Cup,” Atobrah told GHANAsoccernet.com

“I am not in a rush to move abroad at all. I believe that playing in Africa will be a great platform to showcase my ability to the rest of the world,”

“And that I believe will put me in a situation where big clubs will come chasing after me. So at the moment, I will remain with the club barring any unforeseen circumstances.”

Coach Anthony Commey is determined to build his team around the promising midfielder following the departure of three key players from the club.

Leading marksman Emmanuel Baffour and Mumuni Abubakar have joined South African side Sundowns while captain Moro Ibrahim is expected to seal a three-year deal Swedish giants AIK Stockholm.

Atobrah produced a string of polished displays by providing leading marksman Emmanuel Baffour with a steady supply of bullets which saw him rake in 21 goals to emerge goal-king last term.
