Aston Villa star Albert Adomah makes a return in Ghana's squad for Japan, Iceland friendlies

In-form Aston Villa winger Albert Adomah has been named in Ghana's squad for the pre-World Cup friendly matches against Japan and Iceland.

This is Adomah's first call-up since Kwesi Appiah's return as Black Stars coach.

He has been instrumental for Villa who face Fulham in the Championship play-offs final.

Adomah scored 14 goals in 41 appearances for Steve Bruce's side.

His last appearance was on 13 October 2015 when he came off as a second half substitute and scored in the 1-1 draw with Canada in an international friendly at the Robert F. Kennedy Memorial Stadium in Washington, DC.
