Atletico Madrid manager Diego Pablo Simeone believes that Antoine Griezmann gave a 'brilliant' response to Bayern Munich star Frank Ribery, who claimed that Le Petit Diable is not a top striker.
“Griezmann? He’s doing okay. He has very clear ideas and matured with us, especially as a person - the Argentine manager said - I can’t observe everyone’s opinions".
"We must respect them all, but Griezmann responded brilliantly to Ribery’s comment, so there’s nothing more to add.”
The 25-year-old recently told Eurosport: “I will continue working. As he says, we’ll see at the end what kind of player I am, but I know I’m on the right track".
Then Griezmann ended: “Everyone has an opinion. To my father, for example, I’m the best player in the world. To the fans of Atletico, too".
