Augsburg coach Markus Weinzierl wants Ghana defender Baba Rahman's future sorted quickly.

The defender has been heavily linked with a move to Chelsea and he missed their 5-0 friendly win over Toulouse at the weekend.

The German club said he had muscular issues, but Weinzierl has admitted the speculation is starting to get to both himself and the player.

Weinzierl told German magazine Kicker: "It's clear that I and all of us here want the facts soon."

Kicker say Chelsea are extremely close to agreeing personal terms for he left back but that there is some way to go before the two clubs strike a deal despite the champions offering in the region of £25m for his services.

Blues boss Jose Mourinho knows he needs to get some more bodies in to bolster his back line.
