Augsburg sporting director Stefan Reuter has hailed the capture of Ghana defender Daniel Opare but admits his 'development is not complete'

Opare, 24, completed a three-year move from Portuguese giants FC Porto on Thursday.

The Ghana international will be hoping for an injury-free season after struggling with the setback during his spell at the Portuguese giants.

And Augsburg sporting director Stefan Reuter has expressed delight in the signing of the talented Black Star but admits his 'development is not complete'.

"Daniel is a young, talented player who has already gained match practice at various clubs in Europe." he told the club's website.

"But we are sure that his development is not yet complete."

Opare may not get the chance to play alongside his international teammate Abdul Baba Rahman, who is set to join English powerhouse Chelsea.
