Augustine Arhinful blasts Avram Grant's coaching seminar as a mere propaganda
Avram Grant met with coaches of the 16 Ghana Premier League clubs on Friday

Ex Ghana striker Augustine Arhinful says Avram Grant’s meeting with Premier League coaches is a mere publicity stunt with no substance.

The former Chelsea boss interacted with the various coaches of Ghanaian top flight clubs in a one-day seminar held on Friday at the Alisa Hotel.

This was the first formal meeting of its kind for the Grant since taking over as coach of the Black Stars one-year ago.

The 60-year-old has promised more of such meetings with various stakeholders especially coaches in a bid to improve the local game.

But former Ghana striker Augustine Arhinful says the meeting was only a front to cover up of for Grant’s inability to achieve his other targets of improving the local game.

“It is just propaganda, that is what I see,” Arhinful told Takoradi-based Radio 360.

“What I expected was for him to meet the coaches at the Accra Sports Stadium, assemble school kids and go through some practical exercise.

“This is a practical job so how can one share ideas of tactics and formations in a room.

“What can be achieved with such a one-off meeting?”

Avram Grant claims he has reached an agreement to have resource persons from the League Managers Association of England to travel to Ghana to undergo a similar seminar.
