Autopsy report on deceased referee will be out on Tuesday

The cause of the death of referee Kyei Andoh who died days after he was beaten up by fans during a lower division match will be known on Tuesday.

According to reports, the pathologists failed to report to work on Friday and that resulted in the delay.

Jerry Kwame Ayensu, a sports journalist with Ghana TV, has launched an online campaign seeking justice for the deceased referee.

"The autopsy is expected on Tuesday. I was at the hospital and was told the Doctor was not at post so will check back on Monday as I seek to bring justice to this young boy,’’ Ayensu told GHANASoccernet.com

The Ghana Football Association and the Western Regional Football Association have decided to foot the bills of 6the funeral of the young man as they await the findings of the police.

The late referee was 21 years old.
