Defender Awal Mohammed’s Raja Casablanca will go top of the Moroccan league if they are able to beat second place Wydad Casablanca today.
The Green Hawks have recovered from a slow start to the season and are hunting down the title.
Raja is 3rd on the league log with 40 points with their rivals Wydad in second place a point better.
Fus Rabat who are first on the league log have 42 points but won’t play until Sunday night, meaning the winner of the game between Raja Casablanca and Wydad Casablanca will go top momentarily.
Awal Mohammed who joined Raja Casablanca after terminating his contract with Al Shabab has been a key player for Raja since joining them and will be hoping that they do not blow their chance.
