Sam Ayew Yeboah is looking to relaunch his football career on the local scene with either Hearts of Oak or Asante Kotoko.

The 24-year-old attacking midfielder is back in Ghana after spending just one season with Faroe Island top flight club Tvoryrar Boltfelag.

The former Liberty Professionals players says he is looking to get his football career back on track by joining either Hearts or Kotoko though conceding his preference lies with joining the latter.

“I think me coming back to the local scene will give me the platform to get back to the national team, I therefore opted to come back to Ghana to relaunch my career,” he told Accra-based Radio XYZ.

“The league there (Faroe Island) does not have much publicity like when playing here in Ghana.

“No, no I have not had any discussions with either Hearts or Kotoko but actually, Kotoko has been my dream club since I started playing.”

The Aalborg BK trialist earned his debut senior national team call-up on August 20, 2008 in a friendly against Tanzania.

He was also a member of the Ghana squad which won silver at the inaugural CHAN competition in Cote d’Ivoire in 2009.
