B.Chelsea sweat to dump Mighty Jets in FA Cup

League champions Berekum Chelsea survived a scare from Mighty Jets to win 4-3 on penalties and advanced in the MTN FA Cup.

Jets struck first blood on 29 minutes courtesy Mubarak Sinare and kept the pressure on the last season's semi-finalists.

Chelsea had to dig deep and it was Nigerien import Musah Mohammed who shot to draw level at the Golden City Park in the 68th minute.

The match went into penalty shoot-out and Jets missed two spots kicks.

Chelsea on the other hand wasted one kick but it was defender Prince Anokye who sealed the win.

In other results Tema Youth thumped Portsmouth 7-0 and another top flight side Ebusua Dwarfs defeated Believers FC 5-1.

Aduana Stars managed a 1-0 victory over King Solomon.

Kotoku Royals were defeated 1-0 at the Oda Park by BA Stars.
