BA United coach Frimpong Manso says he sees many qualities in defender Stephen Anokye Badu that he himself possessed during his playing career.

Manso has made history by leading the Soccer Apostles to return to the Ghana top-flight after 10 years in the wilderness and one of his key players was the young centre-back.

Anokye’s timely tackles and leadership qualities at the back made him a major talking point during the Division One League promotional play-offs.

"I look at Stephen and I see myself reflected in many of the things he does,” Manso, the ex-Ghana and Kotoko defender, said after his side beat RTU 1-0 last week.
