BA United striker Alex Asamoah has launched a stinging potshot at the club’s management, labeling them as a ‘bunch of unserious’ people for neglecting him in his injury-spell.

The former Kotoko striker is fuming with anger over lack of concern and care from officials and accused them of dereliction of duty.

Asamoah missed the side’s 1-1 stalemate against Hearts on Sunday and had no kind words for the management team.

“I wasn’t able to play against Hearts of Oak, because I had an injury in the mid-week and I was supposed to go to the hospital, he is quoted by Metro FM.

“I was determined to feature against Hearts, but the new leaders appointed to direct the affairs of the club abandoned me and left me to my own fate.

“It was later that one of the management committee members approached me asking that Alex, how far with your injury? And I told him that you (management) are not serious because if you have a big game against Hearts of Oak and your top striker is sidelined by injury and you can’t take care of him then you (management) are not serious.

“They didn’t give me any drug, but it was one man called Atta B.A who has been appointed to assist the CEO carry out his job that gave me GHC 5 to buy an ointment for treatment, but I gave it out to some children.”

It has been a remarkably poor run for side which showed so much potential at the beginning of the season.

The club is in turmoil after the dismissal of chief executive Roy Arthur in the wake of their 4-1 trouncing at Ashantigold last week.
