Brong Ahafo United will be without their newly signed striker Alex Asamoah over the delay in the completion of his paper work.

The 29-year-old signed a one-year contract with ‘The Apostles of Power Soccer’ as a free agent having exhausted his contract with Aduana Stars.

Asamoah will however have to sit out BA United’s League opener against regional rivals Bechem United on Saturday.

The former Asante Kotoko striker’s transfer has not yet been completed with some paper work yet to be sorted out.

He is thus not available for selection for the game which will be played at the Sunyani Coronation Park.

Asamoah hopes to help BA United finish well in the First Capital Plus League with his experience.

He was the goal king of the 2008/09 Ghana Premier League season.
