Augsburg promising talent Baba Abdul Rahman prefers to combine both defensive and offensive duties on the left flank.

The Ghana international manages to raid the flank with aplomb and has left many to wonder if he is best at defending than launching attacks.

Rahman responding by saying: “I'm happiest on the left-hand side, regardless of whether it's in an attacking or defensive role. You have to be good in attack, but also able to defend well. That's the most important thing.”

The former Asante Kotoko player has been likened to ex-Ghana defender Hans Adu Sarpei who featured in the German top-flight.

But the 22-year-old says his style of play varies from the former Schalke 04 player.

“Hans Sarpei is really well-known in Ghana because in his time not many of us had played abroad," Rahman said.

"My style of play is a bit different, though, probably more attacking - everyone has their own way of doing things,” he added.
