Baba Rahman makes Chelsea's bench for Champions League clash at Porto
Baba Rahman made his Chelsea debut in the win over Maccabi Tel Aviv

Ghana defender Baba Abdul Rahman has been named on the bench for Chelsea’s Champions League match against Porto on Tuesday night.

The 21-year-old is yet to establish himself as a regular first team starter since joining the Blues this summer.

Baba got his first Chelsea start in their opening Champions League game against Maccabi Tel Aviv where the English champions run rampant in a 4-0 win.

But the Ghana international has been returned to the Chelsea bench despite his expensive arrival from Augsburg.

Jose Mourinho has rather opted to keep faith with the stuttering Branislav Ivanovic who will captain the side for the game to be played at the Dragao.

The Serb is joined by Kurt Zouma, Gary Cahill and Cesar Azpilicueta to make up the back four.

The greatest surprise in the Chelsea line up is the exclusion of Eden Hazard who takes his place on the bench alongside Baba Rahman.

Mikel Obi gets his first ever start in the Champions League this season and will be partnered in midfield by Cesc Fabregas, Ramires and Willian.

Diego Costa will be playing upfront alongside Pedro.

Chelsea XI: Begovic, Ivanovic, Cahill, Zouma, Azpilicueta, Mikel, Ramires, Fabregas, Willian, Pedro, Diego Costa.

Subs: Blackman, Baba Rahman, Terry, Matic, Loftus-Cheek, Hazard and Kennedy.
