Ghana midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu says the Black Stars stand to lose more if they fail to qualify for the 2014 World Cup.

Ghana will be hosting Egypt in the first leg of the playoff tie on October 15 in Kumasi.

The Black Stars must beat the seven-time African Champions over two legs to make a third successive appearance at the World Cup next year in Brazil.

The team will be under immense pressure to produce a massive result in the first leg match next Tuesday to ensure the return encounter is reduced to a mere formality.

Agyemang-Badu believes the team is motivated beyond measure to account for the Pharaohs with the immense reaping benefits of qualification serving as the overriding motivation.

"The game is on our hearts even more than all Ghanaians because we stand to gain a lot more if we progress," the Udinese midfielder told Metro FM.

"So it is for us to maintain our high concentration in order to get the all-important victory."
