South Africa legend Dumisa Ngobe wants Orlando Pirates coach Eric Tinkler to re-assign error-prone centre back Edwin Gyimah.

Ngobe believes Gyimah’s mistakes at the back are hurting the Absa Premiership side.

"I really do not know where he plays because I have seen him play as a right back for his country, holding midfield and as a central defender at Mpumalanga Black Aces as well as Supersport United,” Ngobe told Goal.

"But I feel playing as a centre-back exposes his weakness and gets the team in trouble most of the time. So, I think it is time for Tinkler to find the best position for the player,” he explained.

Gyimah’s versatility can also see him flourish as a defensive midfielder.
