Baffour strike secures vital win for Edubiase

Emmanuel Baffour returned from the Black Stars camp to power New Edubiase to a 1-0 win over AshantiGold on Sunday.

The 21-year-old converted a 44th minute penalty to secure all three points which now propels the Berkwai-based club to 5th on the Premier League standing.

Baffour who was dropped from Ghana’s final squad for the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations now extends his amazing goal scoring tally to twelve in thirteen Premiership games.

He has been put on stand-by in case lead striker Asamoah Gyan fails to make an unlikely full recovery from a hamstring injury due to his progress with treatment.
