Barcelona boss Enrique: I do not see Guardiola at Man City as a menace

Luis Enrique is not expecting Pep Guardiola to raid Barcelona when he steps into the Manchester City hot seat.

Bayern Munich boss Guardiola will make the move to the Etihad Stadium at the end of the current season and there have been suggestions that the Spaniard may look to his former club Barcelona for players to bring to England.

Sergio Busquets recently hinted that leaving the Camp Nou to link up with Guardiola in Manchester could be an option: "It's clear that I owe Pep a lot and I would be honoured to work with him again."

However, Enrique is confident that Guardiola's shift to the Premier League will not be a problem for he or his key players.

"I don't see Guardiola at City as a menace for our players," said Enrique. "It is a question for Guardiola and Busquets, not for Luis Enrique.

"Busquets was rested against Levante. He was one of the players who has played the most minutes this season and that shows how important he is for us, he is a top player.

"I won't hail him anymore because we already know his importance to the team."
