Javier Mascherano refused to commit his future to Barcelona amid rumours he is set to join Juventus this summer.

The Barcelona man has had a difficult season after being implicated in a tax evasion scandal in Spain but admitted he may stay for another few years.

“At the moment I am a Barcelona but that might change,” Mascherano told TyC Sports. “The club know everything I have gone through this season. I am not saying I will leave but I will have to evaluate everything.

“I will always be grateful to Barcelona for giving me the chance to win everything. I have had a great time here and done everything I wanted.

“Yet there is always a time when you have to move on. I am not sure if that time will be this summer or in one, two or three years time.”

There are also rumours that Juventus are interested in fellow Barcelona defender Dani Alves, to boost their backline as they look impress next season both domestically and in Europe.
