Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu insists new contract talks with Lionel Messi are on track.
The president urged all to remain patient even though no public signs of progress have been made.
"The fans must be calm, [Messi] wants to stay and Barcelona want him to stay," Bartomeu noted.
"Everything is going well, it's going slowly but we act with discretion.
"This negotiations are getting better, as are the ones for [Andres] Iniesta, [Ivan] Rakitic, and [Marc-Andre] ter Stegen."
