South Africa coach Vera Pauw says he is happy to draw Ghana, Cameroon and Algeria in Group B for the 2014 African Women Championships.

Banyana Banyana will be playing Ghana again after losing 1-0 to the Black Queens in a friendly back in May.

They will also face the Indomitable Lioness, a side which beat Nigeria to win bronze at the last tournament in Equatorial Guinea two years.

The Dutchwoman is glad to have avoided old foes Nigeria who are in Group A alongside Zambia, Cote d'Ivoire and Namibia.

“I am happy with the draw. I could not have asked for a better outcome. If you want to be a champion, you must be prepared to slag it out against the best,” said Pauw in reaction to the draw.

The top three countries will qualify for the Fifa Women’s World Cup scheduled for Canada next year.
