BAYERN MUNICH, Rummenigge: \"I think AC Milan won\'t meet our request on SANCHES\"

Published on: 17 July 2017

Asked about AC Milan being keen on Portuguese international midfielder Renato Sanches (19), possibly leaving Bayern Munich after just one season (maybe even not just as a loanee), German giants chairman, Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, stated: "Yes, they are interested in Sanches, indeed. But we haven't made relevant steps forward yet, so far. I think AC Milan are not prepared to meet at least the economic demands we have. And as long as nothing will do. If we think he does not get enough minutes with us, then we are willing to lend him or to give him up in case of doubt. He is a player who needs to play football continuously". The player has been also linked to a move back to Benfica.
