Operations Director of Medeama John Kudjoe has promised a retaliation of attacks suffered against Arsenal in the return Premier League fixture in a fortnight.

The Medeama official was severely beaten by alleged Arsenal supporters while on his way to Berekum to make hotel reservations for his team.

Kudjoe now insists officials of the Berekum-based side will suffer similar if not worse physical harm in Takoradi if the Disciplinary Committee of the Ghana FA is unable to come out with a verdict over the unfortunate incident.

"I can tell your officials will suffer severe attacks like I did when they come here for the return encounter in two weeks," he told Kumasi-based Angel FM.

"If the Ghana FA is unable to rule over this issue before the game then I can assure you we will retaliate.

"The Arsenals officials say I was beaten by dwarfs so I guess the same thing will happen to them here."

With the simmering tension ahead of the game on April 1 it is clear adequate security will need to be put on place to prevent any act of hooliganism the Ghana FA is so determined to stem out from the Ghanaian top flight.
