Ghana captain Asamoah Gyan insists only a win is the result the Black Stars are looking for in the crucial 2014 World Cup qualifier against Egypt on Tuesday.

Ghana play host to the seven-time African champions in the first leg of the epic playoff tie for next year’s World Cup in Brazil.

The Black Stars are expected to record a massive win over the Pharaohs in the game being played at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi.

The resounding win is being required to put Ghana in a comfortable lead ahead of next month’s return encounter tentatively set to be played in Cairo.

And captain Asamoah Gyan says his team are also determined to ensure the only outcome of Tuesday’s match is a win for Ghana.

“I expect anything at all because in football it is about you winning, a lose or a draw,” he said.

“But we are not expecting any of them, we are only expecting a win.”
