Bechem coach Acquaye positive on survival

Bechem United coach Isaac Acquaye believes picking all points at home will do the trick in his side’s attempt to escape relegation.

United were very lucky to come away with a point against Hearts of Oak in a goalless draw game played at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.

They now move above Wassman United and are now 15th with an herculean task of beating the drop but Acquaye is adamant that a surge in their home form will be enough to retain the Premiersgip status of the Berkwai-based club.

“Hearts of Oak the champion club, it is a big club so it’s a credit for us, the coaches and the players that we were able to play with them,” he told GHANAsoccernet.com.

“The tactical work, worked well. We had to do the shadow marking and cross marking well.

“I don’t know tomorrow but we have to win all our home matches, that is very important in our bid to escape relegation.”

Bechem will be hoping to kick start this bid when they host Mighty Jets on Thursday.
