Bechem United chief Kingsley Owusu Achaw has denied reports the club is being put up for sale.

The Bechem-based side are reeling under financial stress with reports claiming players have been unpaid for several months.

The situation has prompted speculations it could lead to administration with an option of a take-over been mooted.

But club chief executive Kingsly Owusu Achaw has poured cold water on the reports insisting it’s false.

“It is not true,” he said in response to reports the club is up for sale.

“We only have one month outstanding and looking at the situation in Ghana, having one month outstanding is not much of a problem.”

United are currently 12th on the table after pickig 19 points from 15 games after the first round of the Ghanaian top-tier.
