Bechem United head coach Miroslav Bogdanovic refused to re-sign the club's former top scorer  Richard Addai.

Addai failed to impress the Serb who had trials with the promoted Ghana Premier League side during their pre-season training in Accra.

He scored nine goals for the club in the 2011/2012  before they were relegated at the end of the season.

Addai joined Hearts of oak but the striker could not command first-team football and ended up in the books of Amidaus Professionals last season where he had some playing time.

"Richard Addai came on trials with us in Accra but the coach did not consider his coming back to the club." the club's spokesperson Kwaku Danso told GHANAsoccernet.com.

Bogdanovic has also refused to admit former players Peter Essien and Kwaku Adu,both were loaned to relegated Berekum Arsenal

Meanwhile striker Reginald Asante, who went on a loan at Liberty Professionals last season, is expected to return to Bechem for the new season.

Bechem United open their campaign against Amidaus Professionals.
